Extendable coffee and drinks table designed in 1970 by the renowned italian photographer and furniture designer Willy Rizzo (1928 - 2013) for Cidue. The table features a black wooden base supporting a chrome frame with a smoked mirror top. The top section slides open to reveal a mirrored dry bar, complete with two shelves and a bottle holder.
Willy Rizzo was an iconic Italian photographer and furniture designer, famed for his captivating portraits of royalty, celebrities, and socialites in the 1950s and 60s. His lens captured the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Jane Fonda, Fred Astaire, Salvador Dalí, and Pablo Picasso.
In 1966, Rizzo expanded his artistic vision by launching a furniture line in Rome, drawing inspiration from Modernist pioneers like Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier. His debut collection featured innovative designs, including steel-banded travertine dining tables and bronze table lamps. Today, many of Rizzo's timeless creations are part of the permanent collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Sliding section works perfectly. Minor scratches on the frame and glass surface. One small chip to one of the internal shelves.
