A truly  stunning and very rare French Art Deco chandelier by the renowned French designers Gênet et Michon. This elegant piece features eight curved, decorated glass panels, interspersed with triangular glass elements, surrounding a central frosted glass coupe. The coupe is adorned with intricate floral motifs, while the petals feature textured decorations reminiscent of floral elements, each beautifully detailed. The glass is mounted on a polished chromed bronze frame, with elegant geometric details. adding a sleek and timeless touch that makes this chandelier a true masterpiece of Art Deco design. This eye-catching piece revisits the spirit of the Art Deco period with a very French taste. 

Genet & Michon, founded in 1911 by Philippe Genet and Lucien Michon, both graduates of Paris’s École Boulle, was a renowned Parisian lighting manufacturer, favored by the city’s elite. Originally focused on Louis XVI-inspired furniture, the company transitioned to Art Deco lighting in 1919, gaining acclaim for its intricate glass and metal designs.

Genet & Michon exhibited at prestigious events like the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and the 1937 Paris World’s Fair, and their work graced iconic locations, including the Élysée Palace. The company continued producing high-quality lighting into the 1960s.
