Beautiful 1940’s gold and green glazed ceramic vase designed by Jean Mayodon ( 1893-1967 ) and manufactured by Sevres, France. Depicting a frieze of stylised figures embellished with random thin gold stratification and gilded rim. Embossed on base with the Mayodon seal of M and dated 1946. It also has a small adhesive label ” Mayodon à Sevres No 1″.
